Miniature Railway

Popular with all ages, this miniature rail experience is one of Chester’s top tourist attractions. Built in 1996 to commemorate the centenary of the Duke of Westminster’s railway at nearby Eaton Hall, the railway operates steam and diesel hauled trains on a ΒΌ mile circuit around the pond.

The Play Area

Using a range of natural materials, this fun and challenging environment for playing and exploring was designed by local artist, Andrew Small, and is a fully accessible area providing play for a broad range of children.
